Armed with a Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, William’s academic journey was marked by active contributions to various organizations, including his role as the Social Media and Publicity Chair of the American Constitution Society and as a Media Representative for Law Students for Veterans’ Legal Issues.
Driven by a passion for representing the most vulnerable in society, William is committed to policy creation and compliance that fosters the health and well-being of individuals in his community. His role involves conducting investigations, providing expert guidance on equal opportunity laws, enhancing programs, recommending adjustments for fair employment practices, and acting as a compassionate liaison for complaint resolution and external agencies.
In his previous role, William conducted comprehensive policy reviews to assess client exposure, presenting findings with a unique ability to translate complex legal concepts for clear internal and external communications. Beyond legal intricacies, William was also a maestro in public relations and communication, crafting impactful strategies. He established a comprehensive tracking system for legislative updates, offering valuable insights on operational changes.
William Berry is more than just a skilled legal professional; he’s a dedicated advocate, bringing not only academic excellence but also a warm and empathetic touch to the Blue Zones Project team. Outside of work, William finds joy in spending time with his family, including his spouse and two beloved pets, Willis the Chawiener and Wallace the family cat. An enthusiastic foodie, William enjoys exploring and mastering new, exotic recipes, showcasing his culinary prowess with mouthwatering dishes, always crafted from scratch.
