ORGANIZATION & WELL-BEING COORDINATOR

Kris joins Blue Zones Project Scottsdale as an Organization & Well-Being Coordinator. Prior to Blue Zones Project, Kris was the Well-Being Program Manager & Coach with WebMD Health Services on their American Express account, a Faculty Associate with ASU School of Nutrition & Health Promotion, and a Well Advisor & Program Manager with UnitedHealth Group/Optum.

Kris is a registered dietitian with extensive experience in corporate wellness and employee well-being. She is proficient in activating lifestyle modifications by increasing awareness, enhancing motivation, and changing behaviors through comprehensive 1:1 and group wellness coaching. Kris is skilled in collaborating with large corporations to design, implement, and promote customized programming to facilitate accountability and success.

Kris has a M.S. in Human Nutrition from Arizona State University and a B.A. from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Kris holds a Lifestyle Medicine Coach Certification, demonstrating mastery in the prevention, treatment, and reversal of chronic disease through evidence-based medicine.

Outside of work, Kris enjoys reading, experimenting with vegan recipes, and road trips to southern California to enjoy the beach. Her competitive nature keeps things interesting, especially in some of her favorite activities: cornhole, darts, and golfing. Kris resides in Scottsdale with her husband Dan, step-daughter Nya, and two pups: Winston and Toby.
