Danny Van Vianen

Danny is the Engagement and Marketing Coordinator for Blue Zones Project Scottsdale, where he works hard to develop and maintain relationships in the ‘people’ sector to further drive the mission of Blue Zones Project Scottsdale. Danny has displayed his professionalism through various means of work within the community, most recently working at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center as a Patient Transporter. He is excited to see the city of Scottsdale make significant changes for their health and well-being, utilizing support from important community members and resources in the area and beyond.

 

Danny was born and raised in the arid deserts of Arizona. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, where he focused on Community Health and minored in Nutrition and Healthy Living. His honors thesis focused on using the theory of planned behavior to study and predict binge drinking behaviors among college fraternity members at ASU, and it was later published on ASU KEEP.  

 

In his personal time, Danny enjoys exercising, personal training his peers, sharing nutritional advice, producing music, and furthering his own music publishing business. He enjoys eating a Mediterranean-based diet and his favorite ways to exercise include swimming, weight training, running, biking, hiking, walking, rowing, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
