PLACES

We engage places to make healthy choices easier.

BLUE ZONES PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO INFLUENCE A CRITICAL MASS OF PLACES ACROSS A COMMUNITY, OPTIMIZING EACH ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT HEALTHY CHOICES FOR THE PEOPLE WHO SPEND TIME THERE.

Within a Blue Zones Project community, we develop deep relationships with the organizations we engage: worksites, schools, restaurants, grocery stores, civic and faith-based groups. We provide tailored tools to help organizations implement evidence-based practices in their environments.

By working collaboratively to make permanent and visible changes, healthy choices become easy choices in all of the places where people live, work, learn, and play.

For Certified Campuses, Blue Zones Project works with campus leadership to optimize on-site cafeterias and vending, facilities, and physical layout to ensure healthy choices are easy to make.
