Personal Checklist
Select at least five actions that you will complete within the next six months:
- Download and start using The Blue Zones Challenge app.
- Keep a comfortable pair of walking shoes or a bike in plain sight.
- Adopt a dog if I am ready and willing, or volunteer to be a dog walker at least 3x/week.
- If possible, remove all computers and electronics from my bedroom.
- Designate a space in my home for quiet time, meditation, or prayer.
- If possible, remove TVs and computers from kitchen and dining areas and/or create a place to park mobile phones away from the eating area.
- Own a bathroom scale, put it in plain sight, and weigh myself regularly.
- Attend a plant-based cooking class.
- Grow a garden at my home, adopt a plot at a community garden, or create a garden moai to support someone who has a garden and is willing to share.
- Schedule a weekly happy hour or get together with friends.
- Have a conversation about getting older with family and/or friends.
- Actively participate in a faith-based organization or try a new one.
